Recycled concrete aggregate, also known as RCA, is an acceptable replacement for natural stone aggregates. Handy Fill RCA is made up of old concrete from sidewalks, pavements, piling, pipe, curbing and building slabs. After being compiled the concrete is processed and screened through a combination of crushing the concrete into smaller pieces and screening the material into popular grades for various uses in construction.
Primary Crushed Concrete (RCA)
Consisting of 2-1/2 inch and under materials without further grading. This material may vary in size as the production of jaw crusher is adjusted. This is the most available and abundant concrete product on site. For volume calculations, crushed concrete weighs approximately 3,000 pounds per cubic yard.

# 57 Stone (RCA)
#57 Stone RCA is a 1-1/2 inch and minus product. This material is an open-graded, self-compacting aggregate blend of size 5, 6, & 7 crushed concrete. It is generally used as large pipe bedding and drainage material. #57 stone weight per volume is approximately 2,900 pounds per cubic yard.

Screenings (RCA)
Screenings (RCA) is a mixture of hard, durable particles under 3/8 inch where the product consists of more fines than #89 stone (RCA) . Screenings weight per volume is approximately 3,000 pounds per cubic yard.

Conventional Fill Products
In addition to Recycled Concrete, Handy Fill has a limited supply of topsoil:
Topsoil
Available for as long as supplies last. This material is suitable for non structural applications and is mainly used as top dressing where organic material is both allowed and desirable. Topsoil is sold as “unscreened” and may include some trimmings and other organics.
